Set 300 years after the events of the critically acclaimed Ghost of Tsushima, Ghost of Yōtei tells a stand-alone story in rural 17th century Japan: Atsu, a lonely mercenary tormented by her past, travels through the beautiful and harsh countryside of northern Japan on her revenge campaign. 11 years extinguished her whole family.

Sixteen years later, Atsu traverses the unexplored Ezo in search of the six outlaws who killed her family and finds far more than just retribution. In the course of her journey, Atsu meets unusual allies and makes friendships she never expected before.
